Active Sports Development CIC is the community-focused, not-for-profit arm of Active Sports. We set this up to expand our work with young people, local authorities, and communities—especially those who face barriers to physical activity.
We're committed to creating accessible, inclusive opportunities through sport, with a focus on community events, health scheme, holiday projects & sustainable clubs. 

Active is always looking to be involved in developing sport within the community. We have worked with many local types of council and companies to build, engage and increase participation.

With expert knowledge in the preparation, delivery and evaluation of sport projects to reach targets and achieve learning out comes, whilst developing sport in the community.
 

Through the CIC, we deliver:
 

  • Free or subsidised sports sessions in schools and youth centres

  • Pop-up events in underserved areas with in the City and surrounding areas
    Inclusive workshops for young people & people with additional needs

  • Partnership programs with local Businesses, Councils, Schools and Charities

  • Holiday activities funded by grant schemes & community programs
     

All of this work is either grant-funded, supported by donations, or run at-cost.

Active Sports Development CIC is a registered Community Interest Company (Company No.16592972).
It operates independently of 'Active Sports' but shares resources, equipment, and personnel where appropriate.

All profits from the CIC are used solely for community benefit.
